01 / THE EXPEDITION LOOP
One action
leads to the next
AVION is designed around a six-stage loop. Each stage uses the result of the previous one, so an expedition feels like a connected process—not a collection of unrelated buttons.
Acquire & scan
↘Select a signal, acquire its target, and run a scan to reveal its simulated signature.
Connect
↘Add a scanned signal to your route when its family is compatible with the current chain.
Stabilize
↘Evaluate the route composition and check whether it meets the prototype's stability threshold.
Create Discovery
↘Save a field record from a resolved route, including its sector and signal sequence.
Review Network
✓Visit Network to review recorded expedition activity and field history.
02 / FIELD CONTROLS
How to operate
the field
Use the Explore page in order. The available action changes as your expedition moves through each state.
A / TARGET
Select a signal
Click a signal marker in the field or a signal card in the detected-signal list. The inspector should identify the selected target.
B / SCAN
Run the scan
Press SCAN SIGNAL. Let the scan complete and review the revealed family, intensity, and signal details before connecting.
C / CONNECT
Add to route
Press CONNECT SIGNAL to append the scanned signal to the route. The route panel updates with its sequence and compatibility.
D / RESET
Start fresh
Use RESET ROUTE to clear the active route, or RESET EXPEDITION to return the active session to its starting state.
FIELD TIP
If a control is unavailable, check the current expedition state first. A signal must be selected and scanned before it can be connected; a route must contain connected signals before stabilization can run.
03 / SIGNAL LIBRARY
Four signal families
Signal families are the basic vocabulary of the field. Each family represents a different signature pattern in the AVION prototype.
FAMILY 01
ECHO
A repeating carrier pattern. Used to represent a signal that returns in recognizable cycles.
FAMILY 02
PULSE
A short burst signature. Represents a brief, concentrated signal event.
FAMILY 03
VOID
A low-density state. Represents sparse or weakened signal activity.
FAMILY 04
ANOMALY
An unstable signature. Represents an irregular pattern that needs careful route context.

Build a compatible chain
A route is a sequence of connected signals. In the current prototype, routes support up to four signals and check family compatibility as you build.

STABILIZE
Runs the prototype's route evaluation. A successful result unlocks the Discovery creation step.
RESET ROUTE
Clears the active signal chain so you can build another route without deleting saved Discovery records.
05 / DISCOVERY RECORDS
Make the expedition count
A Discovery is the saved outcome of a resolved expedition—not a random collectible. Its record can include the source sector, signal chain, stability result, and creation time.

Know what is live
AVION is being developed in layers. The current website demonstrates the exploration experience; it should not be mistaken for a deployed on-chain protocol.
Interactive frontend
Sector selection, signal scanning simulation, route building, route evaluation, and locally saved Discovery records.
Production protocol
On-chain ownership, token utilities, contract-based settlement, global indexing, and shared cross-device expedition storage require separate implementation and deployment.
